Cadbury Bubbly IPad Competition

I am writing this on behalf of my mom

Cadbury/Kraft foods held a competition whereby if you bought 2 or more slabs of Bubbly you had to fill your details in on the back of the receipt and enter it into the competition box at your store, up until 31 May, for a chance to win an IPad.

My mother is not a wealthy woman, but bought at least 20 bars of chocolate to try and win an IPad for my nephew (her grandson). When she went to drop her slips off at Pick n Pay Bedford Centre on 24 May, the box was missing (she had entered a few times before so knew where it was). When she asked one of the staff where the box was they didn't know. On 28 May, she tried again but the box still wasn't there. That same friendly staff member, chased my mom and told her that the box had been collected on 22 May, as it was full, but had not been replaced. All the promotional material was still up. This is clearly a violation of the new Consumer Protection Act, as it blatantly falsely advertised the competition, luring people to buy the product but not offering the means to enter the competition. I trust that Kraft Foods will rectify this situation somehow, as taking advantage of people does not sit well.
