Bad Quality

I bought a jersey last year and it has been only hand washed several times but only this year after the latest wash it shrunk. I took it back to the Polo store in Menlyn and to be told that it will be taken for quality checks to determine how it was washed yet I've had this jersey for almost a year. My issue here is that my integrity is being questioned instead of addressing their bad quality product.
