I placed an order for one of the daily specials yesterday and had other items in my cart as well. Upon check out I chose delivery options and the only option available was Post. I phoned customer services who informed me that they are having a system problem and the technicians are working on it. This was yesterday morning. During the course of the day I kept on trying without success. Eventually at 16:30 I sent an email but only received a reply at 18:06 last night when I had no access to my emails. I replied on that email at 09:00 this morning and no one has come back to me. Obviously I will not get the special deal today because it expired yesterday and my cart is R250 more which I will not pay. I have spent plus minus R18 000 with Takealot and would like someone to please get back to me and rectify this problem! Your internal system problems have nothing to do with me. Great news if the company is getting bigger but big NO if you cannot handle the volumes. Never had a problem and the service was excellent. Why do I have to complain now and why is no one sorting this out!!
