Chicken breasts not chicken

My partner and I recently bought x3 marinated chicken breasts kebabs at checkers in fourways mall.
We paid about R60 which I found quite pricey... when we got home my partner fried the kebabs in some butter... When we had the first bite It did NOT taste like chicken... my partner said it couldve been the marinate but I said to him there was no way it tasted like chicken. I rinsed the marinate off the remaining kebabs and i took a picture... definitely NOT chicken!!! I am so disappointed that checkers would sell us chicken breasts that is not even chicken... what's the point of having chef Gordon Rhamsey advertise prime cut meats when you're lying to your customers and over charging us... Do you honestly think we are stupid that we don't even know our meats? Really? lets not get started with checkers sunninghill trying to sell us old meat... I mean we know the quality of good meat when its fresh... but why sell old meat to your customers? Wow... very dissapointing!!! I wish we still had more butchers like we had in the old days with fresh meats... and from past experiences we don't even bother returning the items due to the unconcerned attitudes...
