Went to my local Jet, stood in the Q for about 35min (there's about 20 till points and only 4 cashiers) went at the till i'm told my card is blocked, ask y & they say code L, after asking what the code means i'm told its becuase i need to FICA. I tell them its my husbands account, i just have a card, no help, just bluntly say they can not help me. I then ask that they phone H/O so i can ask y they don't let us know that it needs to be done, before waisting my time by letting me Q forever. But as usual i don't get anything out of anyone, you know the less they need to to the better for them, o, and of couse no one needs do be frendly. After paying the goods cash (just to proof i can) i drive back to the office to phone Edcon and let them know of the situation, after 3 calls to 3 diffrent numbers that cut me off i realized its best to just close the account in total. and i will make sure everyone knows tha Jet and Edcon made me feel like a criminal and totaly spoiled my day. After all all they could have done was put a sticker on my bill or send an sms so that my husband could FICA,
or on the letter that they send begging us to come spend because we're sush GOOD clients
