R3579.80 not refunded after a week!!!

I went to Woolworths Canal Walk on Monday 06/05/13, when getting to the counter they informed me that their card machines were offline but we can try and swipe my card to see if it's now working. After they swiped my card I received a sms saying the payment of R3579.80 has been made but they said it is not showing that it went through on their computer. After speaking to management they said I cannot leave the store with the items I purchased and the money will return to my account by the end of the day. It's now been a week 13/05/13 and (after numerous phone calls I had to make to make, wasting my airtime because no one was keeping me informed) the money is still not paid back into my account. I am appalled by the service I received and feel that Woolworths Canal Walk have robbed me of the money they STILL owe me as I have nothing to show for it! They have made it very difficult to get by and I have wasted so much time, money and effort on trying to get either my purchase or my money - I am shocked and appauled that nobody has been able to help me with the situation and that I am still fighting for what is rightfully mine!
