I was in Clicks Northvaal this morning and asked the lady the following question: " Can you check if my medical aid pays for Ecotrin and then I also want Mybulin." I gave her my clicks card number and she opened my profile and went to the back to collect the medication. I then received a phonecall and she proceeded to complete my order. When done I noticed what I thought to be a levy of R71.99. I asked her if the medical aid declined the transaction as I didn't expect such a big levy. She then said I didnt tell her I want it on medical aid hence she put it through as a cash sale. So I asked her why I would ask to check if my medical aid pays for this medication if I intended purchasing it cash. She then started laughing in a mocking manner telling me that I didn't specify and that a clicks card number doesn't mean my medical aid details are on their system. I was under the impression my medical aid details were linked to my profile. What irked me was the way she answered me back in a very rude manner. And that alone is motivation enough to really stop using Clicks. PS: This is my second complaint in a space of two weeks. Unacceptable.
