I'm a client with CHUBB for almost two years now, and in June last year I had an installation done at home whereby I paid the technician cash on site and received my receipt as well. I noticed in November a larger amount was deducted from my account. After several calls, I finally got hold of the branch which has now relocated to Amanzimtoti. I was told to send through my receipt etc which I did. I then called the branch back after a few days since Ive not heard from them and I was told that the cash payment was allocated to the incorrect books and that's the reason they could not find the payment and therefore they started deducting that amount, I was told that they would reallocate the payment into the correct books and thereafter do a refund into my account. Its now two months and Ive still not received any payment. When I did a follow up, I was told that apparently they were sorting out their financial year end and cannot do any refunds. Why should I chase after my own money.
