I had an alarm activation the morning of 27 August 2013 at 05:52. ADT called to check if everything was fine, I responded to say they should send a unit as I was not sure whether I had a burglar in the house. The tech promised to send a unit. I waited for 10minutes and no-one came. I called ADT to check if a unit had been sent to investigate the alarm activation and my call was dropped at least four times (ADT should a record of my calls which were made from my land-line). A unit eventually came 25minutes later and the car was not even one that is allocated to my area.

My concern is that my life was threatened because all the time I waited I had no way of knowing whether a burglar was in my premises. The area where the alarm went off was the kitchen area. I was alone in the house and have no pets which could have activated the alarm. Should ADT customers accept such life threatening behavior whilst we are being promised a security service which was clearly not rendered in this instance? I could have been shot within my premises and no-one would have known as ADT did not check whether the unit had arrived.
Customers lives cannot continue to be put at risk with this poor service.

ADT deliberately destroyed my alarm system
