Obstructed view at a show with no prior notice

I bought 5 tickets online for the Draliion Show on Saturday, the 9th March, 8pm show, Row A, Block J @ R300 per ticket
When we arrived we realised that the railing in front of us was going to obstruct our view as the stage had been extended out. There was nothing we can do other than stretch to look over the railing or look below.
My son had to sit on the floor as he was too short to look over.
I just feel that this is really bad planning from Big Concert and it should have been transparent that it was obstructed viewing at a cheaper ticket. If I had known this, I would have bought tickets in Row B
I have made contact with Big Concerts and all I got was a thank you for your email, will make note of it for the next show. I feel strongly that response is not 'good enough' and there should be compensation, especially for my son who sat on the floor!
