Chocolate and Candy Expo was Terrible!

The Chocolate and Candy Expo at the CTICC on 30 November and 1 December was appalling. The smell of oil hung over the small hall, from two stands frying boerewors rolls and onions (at a Candy Expo!). The NSRI and the SPCA had stands, as did a stall with religious reading material, but there was very little chocolate to be found. There was a stall selling nothing but small packets of Simba chips laid out in a row. There were plenty of cupcakes made by somebody's aunty, and one or two stalls selling cheap candy, but none of the leading brands of local or imported chocolate. What a waste of money. Here's hoping they don't hold it next year!!
