What a disgrace after i spent R1400 .00 now

Good Morning i have been a loyal m net subscriber for the last 18 years my mnet decoder broke and i have insurance on it but my son showed me a advert on my broadband on a forum that multichoice gave the old clients the opportunity to go on premium minus Mnet for R275 . per month naturally i phoned the call center this morning and asked one of the ladies can i go over to this package yes she replied but for the mnet to go to Benoni and sort it out there so i went over to multichoice in Benoni and also aked the Genetel man working there about the premium package without the mnet for R275 .00 he also said yes but we must phone JHB to add that and cancel Mnet. Under the assumption that it is sorted i went and bought a pvr with a walka because at the end of the day i will have premium without mnet. NOOO i phoned them to do the switch and the lady tells me no sorry you can not do that, that special is no more now i am sitting with a pvr and a walka i cant take back or use R1400.00 wasted money. I feel like canceling my mnet as well after this story. WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME THIS MORNING OR AT BENONI THAT, THAT SPECIAL IS NO MORE REALLY I AM VERY DISGUSTED WITH THIS.
