MULTICHOICE RENEGADES ON ITS PROMISES ONCE AGAIN

Recreation & Entertainment

I have been a loyal Multichoice subscriber for the past 6 years, for the South Indian bouquet. The PVR functionality on channel 454 has not been working for a long while, and despite raising this issue last year with multichoice, nothing has improved. On 10/03/2013 at 12:09, i called in to report the discrepant information panels and the programs screened, spoke to Lerato reference number 123021659, who indicated that a manager would contact me in this regard. After 7 days of no call back, I phoned the call centre on 17/03/2013 at 19:24, spoke to Thandiwe, who said that a manager would call me the next day.

Multichoicefalsely claimed on 20 March that the problem was resolved. Spoke to Richard from Multichoice who indicated that channel 454 programs as well as EPG would be monitored for discrepancies. It has been 3 weeks and the problem has not been resolved. The weekend's EPG is identical to the weekdays and this is completely discrepant from the programs that are screened. It is impossible to use the PVR function.

Multichoice has publicly misrepresented itself wilfully claiming that the problem has been resolved, knowing full well that the problem is ongoing.
