Disappointments plus bad service = wasted money…

Iron Man 3D on Wednesday 22 May 2013 17:40 Cinema 2. After waiting for 15 min. and no movie at all the whole cinema was informed "there was a technical problem, get your re submissions". No apology and after another 15min. in a queue full of unspoken frustrations we were handed re-submission tickets with instructions that you have 2 weeks to use the ticket.

From what I've heard this happens often but the unspoken fact is the money lost on fuel to get to the theatre, the money I've lost on the overpriced snacks I bought especially for this movie, the lost money on parking fees and the money spent on fuel all the way back home. Luckily I didn't take the whole family this time.

The evening worked out to R250 for me and my son (the price of 2 DVD's) and all we received in return was Ster-Kinekor disappointments with even more money that I have to fork out for a second try PLUS no guarantees that we will actually see the movie. I will no longer support SK with the R500 hard earned cash I normally spend every time I take my family to the movies. Thanks Ster-Kinekor for a evening I won't soon forget :(
