Just Letting
Empty promises to secure the business

We asked Just Letting to handle the letting of our garden cottage (on our property) on their "rent secure"option. The tenants took occupation on 27 March 2013, and we received a credit of R284, 24 (portion due after they had taken their admin fee out of the first month's (April 2013) rental, whereafter, according to all their advertising etc, we would receive the rental on the first of the month. To date we have still not received any payment in respect of the May 2013 rental, (Shelley (agent) told us the tenants have paid it to Just Letting), we were promised a statement last Friday 3/5/13, which we still haven't received, we have left numerous messages for the manager, Mark van As to contact us - to no avail. We have phoned his cell phone - voicemail; and we have been pushed from pillar to post. Today is the 08/05/13: still no payment received, no statement received, no phone calls. Where do we go from here?
