I have been trying to get a job with Ekurhuleni since 2007, and to date still no luck, and everyday you hear of people buying jobs from people working for the Municipality, now I've been raised to know that it is wrong to buy a job, you should earn yourself one. Sometime last year I met a senior staff member from Ekurhuleni, and i actually told him how I've been struggling to get a job with Ekurhuleni, and he told me that i needed to know someone working there, whom would organize a job for me, and that i would have to pay for the job, he said submitting my CV was just a waste of time, as they will not even look at it, he then took me to meet another person whom also worked for EMPD, and we had to make arrangements for me to buy a job, and i was going to get back to them, i never did, but i don't regret not buying that job, as if i get it i want to earn it.
