After years of complaining to City management about the state of the Voortrekker caravan park in Strand, things have turned for the worst this December. No maintenance is done throughout the year besides the renovation of old ablution blocks, which is still on going, imagine the mess and inconvenience. Ablution blocks are filthy, and there's no water pressure. Security is none existent allowing everyone to drive in and some campers that don't even pay. On the 27 December our caravan was broken into while we were sleeping. No apologies or visit from management. R28000 later we have to year our standards are too high and that we have to look for alternative resort. Total lack of management. What happen to customer service and safety in the Western Cape?
