SAPS Orange Farm corruption

My employee, a registered security guard with no criminal record, and was arrested last night while sitting outside his house in Orange farm. He was given no reason for his arrest and was told to keep quiet. He was forced to stay overnight then pay R250 to be released. He received a slip saying that he had only paid R100. The officers were not wearing badges and refused to give their names, saying they would lay an assault charge against him if he continued to be "aggressive" in demanding to know why he was arrested and what the officers' names were. When I called the officers to speak to them, they refused to tell me their names or why he had been arrested and when I said I would be contacting my attorney one of the officers I was speaking to told me I should do that then hung up on me. My employee still does not know why he was arrested. The closest he came to finding out was when one of the officers said somebody had sent them. It is convenient that my employee was released just before the new officers came on duty this morning. He now has no money to get to work on Wednesday. I will be taking this further.
