The electricity account was not paid on time and the electricity was cut on the 25th November.

That same evening around 18:30, the account was paid at the Centurion office. The lady at the counter made a photo copy of the account and took down my telephone number and said she would give it to her supervisor to request them to reconnect as soon as possible.

On the 26th of November, there was still no lights. I have been trying to call from 11:00 with no success of getting through and eventually only got through to them at 15:30 and spoke to a lady by the name of Shushu. I was told that I have to wait anything between 48 hours to 6 days for my electricity to be reconnected, that's the law and they can't do anything, when asked to speak to the Supervisor (Mr. Mokgawa), they refused to put me through to him, then they said they having technical difficulty they can't transfer the call to him, then they he said he's not available because he is in a meeting.

To disconnect the electricity, they are here in a matter of minutes. But to reconnect, we have to wait days, how is this possible?
