Fault fixing mayhem

I reported the power out in whole whole of our suburb, after a storm yesterday (Sunday 10 Nov 2013). It took me numerous attempts to actually get through to a person on their help desk, and at least an hour of listening to Joburg Munic music, but I did report it eventually, around 5:30pm.
The power was restored by 6:20pm.
I received a call at 1:30am by a person from City Power asking for my address to come and restore the power!!!
I told him the power was restored hours ago.
I called that number in the morning, once I could think straight, and asked the guy what that middle of the night call was about. He said he lived in the area, but worked for City Power. He got a call at 11pm, to say there was a power outage report, and he was following up on this.
What incompetence! What irritation, and I am sure that guy was paid overtime, to wake me up to check if the power was restored. No wonder the Munic has no money!
