Recovered Bakkie still waiting to be verified

Politics & Government

3 months ago I, my uncle & the police officers took my recovered bakkie to the police vehicle pound in Pretoria West. After looking for it for almost a year my uncle and I recovered it from an unsuspecting buyer who bought it at a dealership, It had to be taken to the pound as I had reported it December last year.
The 1st time we went there we were given a case no & told to wait till they contacted us as the case is opened as a dispute (being two owners claiming ownership of the vehicle). I have been there on 3 occassions & have spoken to the invesigating officer Nkwe & the station captain Tshole. I was first told my case would be given priority but the last time we spoke I am told I must wait for them to call me as there are 50 cars ahead of me undergoing verification and they will contact me as they dont know how long this will take. I am deeply frustrated by this as it is a well-known fact that vehicle parts have gone missing from cars at the pound and they auction of the cars after a certain amount of time there. All i want is my vehicle back, I have given them everything they need (documentation) to process I dont know whats the delay. my case no is 319/12/2012
