Disconnection

Today a man at my gate handed me a disconnection notice. I immediately printed copies of payments and handed them to him. As at they coming to my gate, all was paid up to date. Needless to say this notice was for R7788.86 which included amounts only due on 7 November 2013!! I spoke to Lulama in accounts who told me that they can't demand money if it is not due yet - told me she was sorry that she couldn't explain further. But the cherry on the top was the fact that this man then said that he won't disconnect me, but I must do him a favour... and give him and his friend breakfast!!! Am I the local Wimpy??? Do your job, don't blackmail people.
