Thanks Sgt Thema and the Flying Squad!!

Politics & Government

My car was broken into on Thursday evening 2013-09-05 between 19:55 and 21:30 while attending Virgin Active Bel Air Shopping Centre.

The back passenger side window was smashed and amongst other things my wallet, ID, driver license, and few Rand were.

The was reported at Douglasdale /- 22:30, Sgt. Thema assisting. I had to go back home quite a few times to get info (insurance etc) with my last trip around 02:00 the next morning.

Imagine my surprise when Constable Mkhondwane gave me my wallet, incl drivers, bank cards and ID back about 4 hrs after they've been.

A MIRACLE!

Apparently members of the Flying Squad saw my wallet and ID lying in the road near Allandale and they drove all the way to Douglasdale to drop the docs.

Thanks to everyone, Constable Mkhondwane and Sgt. Thema included and very special thanks to the members of the Flying Squad for the time and effort, also saving me a huge effort in reapplying for docs and possibly sorting future ID issues.

I still need to query SAP13 to get the details of the members involved because these people are heroes and their names and details should be published far and wide. I can't say "thank you" enough.
