City power outage

The residence of kibler park and mayfield park have been with out electricity since yesterday 3 september @4pm and it is still off today 4 sep 10.22am. this is not acceptable. i believe that city power have internal issues and are on strike, but this is not acceptable. why should the consumer suffer because of internal shift issues. we pay our electricity and it is increased every year by crazy amounts for city power to provide a service which they are not doing. i was told from a source that the elctrician will all be going on strike from friday 6 september till monday 9 september and be sabotaging the electricity supply by turning off the whole of johannesburg. the consumer has niothing to do with interal issues and should provide a service. if the staff cant the contractors must be sent out or temp staff employed. I ask again why should the consumer be affected
