Department of Home Affairs
No visa issued for a year!!!

Dear Sir/Madam
My name is Marta, I come from Poland. I stay in SA for 5 years now, August last year I applied for new, partner visa with work permit. Home Affairs has got 30 days to issue/change the visa status, it normally takes longer 2 months or so... I am waiting now 11 months for new visa to be issued!!! Following up every week I only receive response that my visa is "pending". How is it possible that no documents and application has been processed for a YEAR!!! I am still waiting as there is no professional help and following up from Home Affairs side, no feedback, no professional dealing with issue or help... It has been "lost" in the system that no one is able to control cause of inefficient staff and professional service! Please help! Kind Regards
