Application for passport renewal could not be processed, according to them, 6 I.D books had been issued in the past 10yrs, an investigation into this was logded in 2003 with no outcome (I confirmed 2 applications). Was told to get documentation from my primary school and clinic cards to verify my identity (laughable). All I could produce was my late mothers death certificate and a copy of her I.D but this according to them was not enough, asked them to compare the finger prints on my fire-arm license, issued in 1993 and my first I.D book application, their excuse to all this was that the old finger print system was outdated.
