Pathetic service

This morning, my neighbour decided to cut down a tree in their yard. the tree fell over and damaged the overhead electricity power cables, causing the entire block to be without power.

I telephoned City Power and was given a reference number and promised that my complaint has been logged and would be attended to, with no success. The first reference number was CPWEB201335.

I telephoned for the second time, and was given a second reference number (CPWEB201362). Six hours later, nobody from City Power came out to fix or even investigate the problem. The block - Stanton Street, between Moffat Street and Leonard Street, Turffontein, is still without power.
