Utterly poor service

We were to collect items of a deceased patient and were sent to the Kit Room by a Ward 8 receptionist and found the Kit room locked. A nursing sister who saw us waiting outside the Kit room, said the Ward 8 receptionist should first have phoned the Kit room before sending us to wait outside. We went back and the reception told us to just go and wait again as the phone wasn't being answered. After a 45 minute wait, and with two matrons asking questions why somebody isn't helping us, I went to Ward 8, and the receptionist was again her usual undecided self, explaining that there's only one key in the whole hospital for that room. It was only when I asked for the Kit room attendant's supervisor that she started calling mutual friends and eventually got a cell number. 90 minutes had gone by since we first went to the Kit room

For her part, the Kit room attendant, Lizzy is her name, didn't even offer any apology as she opened the room, not even a greeting. We had already learnt that she had been with friends at various points in the hospital when her services were being sought.

It is utterly painful to see people ignoring their duties when so many others are unemployed! Dead wood!
