Stop UGU from destroying lives

We have lived on the lower south coast for the last year, and in this year we have had more water interruptions than in the previous 35 years living in Gauteng.
This is all due to bad management and planning at UGU Municipality.
The whole water system is failing and I fear it has become so dilapidated that it is beyond saving.
As I type, we have had sporadic water for the last 4 days. Other areas in the lower south coast has had no water since this morning.
No-one at the UGU call center actually knows what is going on, every agent I have spoken to has given me a different reason for the water interruptions.
To add insult to injury, when you phone their call center, you are lucky to get someone at the other end of the line 1 out of 4 phone calls.
This is absolutely disgusting service delivery and we as a community are sick of it.
Some of the current failings are: No backup generators at pump stations, no preventative maintenance, old asbestos pipes that should have been replaced 10 years ago, no lightning protection at pump stations, not enough cut off valves in pipelines to segment the system should a pipe burst.
I am unsure of who to contact to fix this problem.
