Eing charged Penalties, over and over again

I am appauled by the service offered by Sars consultants. I took time off work in 2012 to manually submit my returns, and this morning i received an sms from sars saying i owe them a lot of money. i will not be pernalized for not submitting when i know that i submitted. I have lost my proof of submission, but because i went there, i believe they must have a record. i will not pay this amount and someone must take responsibility.
