I bought a Tomtom last week, with the promotion "Lifetime Maps", where after registering your device online, you get given a code to activate your promotion.

Unfortunately, my code was not working. After multiple failed attempts to register my code and endless frustration, I decided to write in Tomtom's international website, and in Tomtom South African Facebook profile on Friday night.

To my great surprise, i received a phone call from the South African branch first thing Monday morning, and several emails from their international support, coming to my aid. Not even one hour after, my device was properly registered, and everything was fine.

I must stay, this was quite outstanding service, both from their South African branch and their international counterpart. They were prompt, polite, helpful, despite the frustrations on a Friday night of an irritated client. Bravo!
