Hair Treatment Gone Wrong!!

We went to Butterflies hair salon to obtain a quote for half head highlights, cut and blow for my daughter. We were quoted R665 by Jaconette, one of the hairdressers. The same day we returned to make the booking for the following week, Friday 1 March 2013 at 15h30. On the day, Jaconette only began with my daughter's hair at 16h00. We sat for 4 hours due to the fact that Jaconette couldn't get the colouring right of the highlights and the fact that the highlight colouring was smudged on the rest of the hair and had to be corrected. The highlights came out yellow and a toner had to be used to correct it. At the end of the day we were charged R850, R185 more than quoted.
Everything looked fine when finished, but two weeks later my daughters hair looks streaky and uneven and the highlights are once again yellow, as per the pre toner treatment on the day.
We went back to the salon today, 14 March, and requested to speak to the manager but was told I had to speak to Jaconette, who said she was sorry (so admitted it wasn't right), but couldn't correct it free of charge. They also refused to reimburse me the monies paid for the failed hair treatment.
Unprofessional service!!
