Car Break In under Car Guard's Supervision

I went to Camps Bay Beach on Sunday the 17th Feb. As a result of the lack of parking in the area I decided to park at Camps Bay Bowliing Club. The charge was R20 and a car gaurd was patrolling which made me feel more comfortable in parking there. I left some of my son's things at the back of the bakkie and also forgot my binoculars there. Upon returning back to the bakkie from the beach after probably and hour I discouvered that my son's bike, ball, bag and my binoculars are missing. I approached the car gaurd who patroled this very small parking area and asked him what the happened. He's reaction was very nonchalant hence the reason I confronted the owner. He himself didnt seem to care and did not even repramand the car gaurd. I regret not opening a case at the police station just to have some action taken against who ever was involved.
