Stay Away From Rola VW Hermanus Dealership

My name is Cedric Mboyisa. I bought a second hand VW Touareg from Rola VW Hermanus Dealership in the Western Cape, SA in December 2012. Within six months of purchasing the car it started giving me endless problems. What has become clear is that the dealership sold me a car with inherent and latent defects. I communicated with the dealership but they refused to take responsibility. I took the matter up with VW South Africa (the VW SA Managing Director's Office), which decided to side with the dealership. I have been treated badly by VW folks.

I wonder if I were white I would be ill-treated this way. All I want them to do is take their problematic car back and give me another car. So far, all my valid concerns and complaints have fell on deaf ears. I have spent more than R100 000 trying to fix the car. Even some VW technicians are saying the dealership sold me a very faulty car. I believe the dealership knowingly sold me this problematic car with multiple defects. As we speak, the car won't start. Therefore, I am more like a person with no car. Due to their arrogance and unwillingness to take responsibility, I have had no choice but as a resort to enlist the services of lawyers.
