Tupperware Southern Africa
Damaged Rice Bowl

Miscellaneous

I purchased a tupperware rice/oats bowl in Dec 2013. The bowl is supposed to cook in the microwave. Upon first use of the cooking bowl (cooking rice), the bowl bottoms melted. I followed the instruction which specified the amount of water, time and microwave power to be used with this product. I returned the bowl to tupperware via its consultant who sold the bowl to me. The brief report I received is tupperware cannot accept the damage as there were no cracks. Why did the bowl melt. Even tupperware products which are not specified for microwave have not melted before.
I am not by the least satisfied as I have paid my hard earned money to buy this product, to think that the supplier can just right me off like that.
What is even worse is, tupperware does not have any central complaints point. I am not happy and want my money back. This does not only victimise me the customer but also their consultant who will never get any sale from me or anyone I know. I will make sure of it!!!
