Bough a vehicle from Auto Extreme in silverton had the same issue as another client that the testing station did not pickup that the hooter was not working, funny as it is a roadworthy item that needs to be tested. My manifold has a huge crack in it leaking engine fumes into the cabin- this also was not picked up by there so called roadworthy test. Gave them quotes for repair they refused and advised that they will only repair the hooter as this was faulty from day one and that I have to bring the vehicle to them for the repairs. I refused do to the inconvenience of being there twice for the repair and nothing done plus sitting without transport for two days. Makes you think if they can bribe the testing centre what else are the capable off? One thing learnt never ever buy from them again and surely advise friends and family too!
