Buffelsfontein Game Farm
Amazing experience - all promises kept!

We visited Buffelsfontein game farm [URL Removed] this weekend (1 Feb 2013). Based on the website, we did not expect to see any of the big 5 except buffalos.

Once we got there, we got an excellent lunch, and the staff was quite happy to delay the afternoon game drive for us by a few minutes, as we were the only guests that afternoon. Just before starting, we were told what to expect, including that we would see the Cheetah and Lion being fed (!!).

We ended up seeing 4 of the big 5, which I thought was just astonishing. This farm has an amazing variety of animals, their staff are friendly and helpful to a fault, all arrangements are kept to the letter, the accommodation is comfortable and spacious...

All in all a fantastic weekend, we would go back there at the slightest provocation!
