Killing birthday plans since 2009??

SO we ordered something that arrived at the Cape Town supplier and was sent to the couriers on the 4th, we are now 5 business days later and we will MAYBE hear tomorrow what is going on with our delivery? If you can't do the courier thing, maybe you should not try. it was SUPPOSED to be a birthday present but due to many delays, our son WILL NOT be getting this for his birthday (tomorrow). I understand we are in Johannesburg, but I can get stock from Yuppiechef DELIVERED to me (also Cape Town based) within TWO days of ordering. What is the hold up? I am all of 16km from your most logical point of delivery, so this can not be an issue, MOST couriers works weekends too, so even if you don't, surely it should by now have been dispatched to the nearest warehouse, from your main warehouse?
