My concerns are regarding the lack of service efficiency provided by the Post Office. On 2 Sept 2013 I went to Canal Walk for an urgent delivery of a parcel to my mom in Sandton City containing medication that she is dependent on, I opted for door service which would reach her within 2 days. After an agonising waiting period, it only reached my mom after 2WEEKS (18 Sept). I called customer helpline who informed me that they would back to me but didn't, I then spoke to Reuben who informed me that the parcel was at Sandton PO, "someone" changed the door to counter delivery. I find it quite appalling that I paid for a service that was not carried out with the efficiency that I initially envisioned. Not only have I paid additional charges for a service that was not fulfilled, but my mom's health could've deteriorated due to this. I sent an email to the complaints department on 9 Oct & received an automatic reply saying "we will respond to your email within 48 hours" I received an email from Maud Ngalo who said the matter is with Speed Services who will get back to me. On 14 Nov I sent an email to Maud saying that I heard nothing from them & received an out of office automatic response!
