Disgusting lack of respect and sympathy

I was witness to a very disgusting act along with several other people visiting the grieving mother of the deceased when Anton, not sure what his position is at the funeral home, called the mother and blatantly told her that he was not going to honor her wishes of moving the body to Durban instead of Stanga, even after he was explicitly informed of this earlier by a person of authority (details left out for privacy). He was under the impression that he was taking orders from the deceased in-laws who have no authority in this matter. The tone in which he conveyed this message was extremely rude and to top it all off he hung up on her as she was trying to speak to him about the matter!

Little did he know that he was on speaker phone with several of us listening in and left shocked and absolutely DISGUSTED that someone could for 1 speak to a mother who has lost her child and 2 have the audacity to hang up on her.

I would just like people that go to that funeral home to be aware of what kind of people and service to expect.
There is no other word for it except disgusting, that kind of behavior especially from a funeral home should not be tolerated.
