I am extremely frustrated with the service I am getting from the Mail Centre Hub. I phoned this morning, and it took me an hour before someone answered. The information I needed was when my parcel would be delivered and what my parcels duties would be.
My Tracking no is II291370940ZA.
The lady I spoke to said the duties are R767.45 which I said is ridiculous. I worked it out on the duties calculator and it came to R212? I also purchased a doll previously at a higher value and I only paid R480.
She said the package was clothes, but it is not, it is 1 doll. She then said she would have her supervisor recheck it and come back to me within an hour. After waiting 3 hours I tried to phone back, and after 2 hours again of phoning I eventually got through to a lady called Hanlie (the first person who actually listened). She said she would do her best for it to be reassessed.. Now when I check the status it says In Transit, and once again I cannot get through to anyone. So my purchase is somewhere with this enormous bill!!!
I cannot be paying duties to almost the same value as the item I purchased, that it blatantly a rip off.
Please give me feedback urgently and sort this out!
