Doom Fogger activation tab breaks when in use

I bought a Doom Fogger as I have an infestation of cockroaches. I shook the can as per the instructions, and took the lid off. When I pressed down on the tab to activate the fog action, the entire top portion including the tab, came loose from the can. I now have a can of Doom Fogger that is still virtually full but is utterly useless to me, because I cant use the product.
What a waste of money!
