Dishonest business practice

This business took a lot of clients money on contracts sold for a 5 year term payable upfront. Shortly after the business changed name to Mint Skin and Laser they informed that the contracts that have been bought will not be honoured. This is, surely if you buy a business you are liable to honour the contracts sold under that business. Well seeing as I am not a lawyer and it would cost more to get one to have my money refunded I guess these people will go on peoples money. Their laser also has had no positive effect so double!!!
