What is the point of a call centre?

I have tried to contact the Post Office Customer Service Call Centre on 0860 111 502, for the last 3 days with no luck. If there is a technical problem with the call centre it would be advisable to inform the customers. I find it hard to believe that ALL your consultants are busy.
