Misleading Sales

I bought a Samsung HD LED TV last year March worth R5000. Yesterday (06/10/13) I took it back because the USB port does not connect with any external device. The feedback I received was that my model do not play movies. This they knew but omitted to convey at point of sale. Now I'm stuck with a TV with a USB that malfunction. Their advice: spend more money at their shop to buy a DVD player that can play USB movies. If I knew this at point of sale I would have opted for the Sony Bravia (for R500 more) which was also on sale that weekend. I will never purchase from Tafelberg again and my overall spent was R34 000. In my opinion, their actions were surely against the prescriptions of the Consumer Protection Act.
