When your car starts playing up and the engine dies you have problems.
If it is a Friday afternoon and you still have 400 more kilometres to travel (plus 700km back home on Sunday) it is even worse. You can't help stressing.
We may even miss the big occasion on Saturday.
A big THANKS to Gert who came out, diagnosed and put us in contact with Flippie.
Flippie Smith immediately sent out a truck to tow us to his (Wollies Auto) workshop and he and his assistant started working straight away.
By closing time we were on our way and by 9 o'clock that evening arrived on the farm in the Karoo (just as the Blue Bulls lost the game against the).
If you ever get stuck with vehicle problems in the vicinity of Wolmaransstad, call in at the local Midas and Christo will assist you to contact Gert or/and Flippie.
