I engaged Turfspec to plant new lawn in my garden and to spray for termites I specifically requested that they do not use the Kamikaze treatment as I've tried it and it has never worked. Regardless, after a lengthy wait their workers arrived when I was not present and used Kamikaze. They did not have enough for the whole area and said they would return with more. They never did.

They charged me R850 for two 1kg boxes of Kamikaze (the normal retail price for one box is a little over R100), plus the ten minutes of labour it took for their workers to spread it around.

Furthermore, I spoke with a representative from Efekto regarding the correct application of their product. It must be applied in the late in the afternoon (4pm-5pm) near the nest holes, and not over the entire area in the early morning.

I requested a refund of the above in addition to the deposit I paid for the other services as I did not want to engage Turfspec any further. They refused to refund my money.

Avoid them at all costs.
