Unscrupulous Debt Collecting

Stuart Rose from RAPID INVESTIGATIONS contacted us to collect a Debt. He came with a "Police Captain" and a "Lawyer" in April 2013. We had to sign a contract, and pay R5, 000-00. He reviewed all our documentation and seemed confident that it would be possible to collect the money. To date I have not had any form of correspondance from this man/organization. I have phoned his office literally 100 times and can only speak to a Lizelle, who passes on the messages, to no avail. She has set up two appointments for him..he never arrives. His cell phone, always goes to voice mail, After a bit of investigating, I found David Safi from Durban who Lizelle confirms is the Director. A pleasant helpful person who promised me feedback. Once again it seems Stuart Rose pulls the strings as he has not corresponded via any means, despite his "director's" instruction. It seems his bravado is just that..all confidence and big words and apparently no action. I obviously realise that sometimes debts cannot be collected, but the least one expects for R5, 000-00 is correspondance to this effect. What does one call someone who TAKES money for a service and then DISAPPEARES..??
