I had a Justine and an Avon account that I cant even remember when last I used because I paid it up and assumed the accounts are closed. Early this year I received sms's and calls from MBD Credit Solutions telling me that I owe them for my Justine account. I called the manager I had last spoken some time in 2011 and she confirmed as to why they still had a due amount of R150.87 and I paid it. Because this happened I felt the need to confirm with Avon if they now to show I owe them anything. They confirmed that I have no balance on my account. So I requested a closing letter. I have with me a statement from Norman Bissett showing that I have no balance due on my Avon account as from 2010 to March 2013. After receiving this statement from Norman Bisette I contacted Avon and according to them that was correct. Before the end of March Avon and Norman Bisette started sending me sms's again that I need to pay R1365.47 but they are unable to tell me where that amount is now out of nowhere showing on there system. When speaking to them last they said yes the account is sorted and then sends me a statement of other people. I would like this to be fixed as it has messed up my credit record.
