Post Office does it again

I posted a parcel which was received a week later in JHB area. The parcel had been severely damaged and one of the items was actually crushed inside despite being securely wrapped in bubble wrap. It appears parcel had been tampered with. What is the point of sending goods with such an unreliable institution. The parcel had been insured soo the value of my loss is known.
